Hurricanes v Chiefs

@Canes4life Not sure IWL has been dropped. He withdrew from the Crusaders game with an injury, so maybe he hasn't recovered yet.
Edited to add that PRS adds more power to the scrum than Fidow. Having watched the Chiefs' scrum crumble against the Crusaders, that may be what they're targeting. Just guessing, of course.
@Stargazer yeah that might be true.

@Number-10 missed this one, he gets around haha.

Chiefs: Damian McKenzie, Shaun Stevenson, Anton Lienert-Brown, Alex Nankivell, Sean Wainui, Kaleb Trask, Brad Weber, Pita Gus Sowakula, Sam Cane (c), Luke Jacobson, Mitchell Brown, Naitoa Ah Kuoi, Nepo Laulala, Samisoni Taukei’aho, Ollie Norris.
Reserves: Bradley Slater, Rob Cobb, Angus Ta’avao, Tupou Vaa’i, Mitchell Karpik, Lisati Milo-Harris, Quinn Tupaea, Kini Naholo. -
If we win this, all off-season I will be saying "we could have won the damn thing if Jacobsen wasn't injured..."

As a chiefs fan it is definitely the best time to be shooting your mouth off - when you're not playing.
I know this to be true from experience as a Blues supporter.

Interestingly Fidow gets dropped for Rakete Stones. I thought Fidow has been impressive off the bench, I don't think RS provides that same impact. Also IWL makes way for Le'aupepe. The fact that IWL has been out of favour lately makes me think he's on the move next year.

Strange unless Fidows injured. As he has done well. But it will be good to see how RS goes. (Im still not convinced about him yet. But hes still young)
Both Fifita and IWL were out last game. This just seems a bit odd that both locks were injured just before kick off (so maybe it wasn't an injury issue). But good to see Leaupepe back.
Also keen to see how Aso goes at 2nd 5 (with PUJ outside him). It might be his best position. Hes got a good skill set rather than smashing through like Laumape . Surprised that Toala mises out in the reserves again
Both Fifita and IWL are missing

What happened to Nanai-Seturo?

Wainui is a fine player. Probably the most underrated winger in the country.
i would take Wainui over either of the two Hurricanes wingers playing this week.

I'm curious if TTT has been playing club rugby in Rotorua recently.
I thought he must be injured. When he has come on it was a big improvement on Weber. Maybe he told the coach he was an idiot

This should be put on a plaque on a wall somewhere as an example of the most hurricanes post ever.
