Seriously, Baker can piss off, he's this era's Karawana or Luke Rooney. He's just shit. It's no surprise the Naki and the Poo didn't want him.

To be brutally honest , Northland have made Hawkes Bay look like world beaters with some real basic errors ..

    He has been very good

But gee we have blown several chances with poor basics, which gave them relief and great field position

@Steven-Harris we have just been terrible. Coaches need to open there eyes about key play makers of they want to turn the season around.

    Lies, we are awesome.

JK, we were both shit in the first half, luckily for us we stopped being shit and they continued.

I think our bench/impact was probably better though which may have turned the game even if Northland played better.

@kev wouldnt say terrible, but our lineout and handling at crucial times has been poor. Cost us any chance

ah well, I never expected to win it, plus we always bottle it in these games.

I think we played some good footy, got ourselves in the right parts of the field, but some very poor errors kept handing advantage back to HB.

I think we have been scored against several times this year on the restart after we scored.

Could see the drop in intensity when they scored after the break though, what energy that was left looked to leave through the east gates!

Pickerill was his usual self, but he wasnt a deciding factor in the game, which I think he should take as a compliment haha

@taniwharugby not really angry but its the basics - when you canโ€™t kick the ball out on penalties, you knock the ball on after scoring and your lineout doesnโ€™t work, its terrible. It means that all the effort is wasted. For a lot of what we are doing ( e.g. defence ) the team is so much better this year. Just want us to go the next level.

I'm assuming all the other Magpies posters are at the park, I felt like I was in a Northland love in during this thread. ๐Ÿ™‚
