That was my first thought to explain it, but the 2nd replay showed it never going outside the posts.
Honest question - did anybody watching that 2nd replay think there was any way it didn't go over?I suspect the refs believed it would've hit the posts or certainly didn't pass between them.

Well - yeah, the refs - on the ground watching it - obviously thought that... I just couldn't figure out how that could be, from the replay we saw.
On first view - I had no idea.
On replay - I was all like "insert 17-year-old girl voice" what the fuck, that was all, like, totally over, like, totally.
Disclaimer: I have 2 dogs in this fight: I'd like the Hurricanes to win, but I've tipped the Blues to win. So... don't really give a shit, it honestly was an honest (but drunk) question. -
