Chiefs v Highlanders

@stargazer he did show some pace, but I'm not sure Nareki has alot of top end, more acceleration over that first 10-20
-
@stargazer especially when you see the head start he gave Nareki

both 10's look to be struggling

@taniwharugby Yeah, Josh Ioane very disappointing. I wonder who is going to be subbed off later. Him or Hunt? Hunt has been better.
-
@kiwimurph The Chiefs could have put the game to bed even by taking the 3 to start with.

The Chiefs’ home game against the Highlanders remains scheduled for a 7.05pm kickoff on Friday night, although a move to Sunday was also considered. However, there is no such luck for Chiefs fans, who will have to tune in from afar as their team hits the paddock after a round one bye.

How was that allowed to play on, without even a penalty. Goes against everything we’ve seen regarding a player in the air for the past few seasons...
-
Highlanders would have to be happy this scoreline going into halftime despite the 2 cards
-
Can the players not hear the halftime siren over the crowd noise?

@gunner wasnt it from a pass?
I really struggle if your player passes the ball so shittily and then you have to jump for it to see why that should earn a penalty, or worse, a card.
