@gunner yeah, had an ok pre season and then started against the saders...and pretty much not seen since

its like we're telling him, you didn't single handedly beat the best rugby team in the comps history so your out

not a lot of height in that back line

9-13 a bit lacking for the Canes (unless Laumape comes back into form), but otherwise not bad. Probably their best second row.

Highlanders are using a lot of squad rotation.

Positives: Rakete-Stones getting an opportunity, replacing Armstrong on the bench; no James Blackwell and Julian Savea!

I'm probably reading too much in Ruben Love getting the 23 instead of the 22, but this could mean that they're going to shift Jordie to 10 and with Love coming on at fullback. If Love is going to replace Leger, why not give him the 22 jersey?
