I think I heard the officials talking about a card, but the commentators are too busy talking about the trophy for the tournament's MVP to notice.

The Blues player is up again and leaves the field on a cart.

@canes4life I googled something a few days ago and stumbled on an article which mentioned Larsen being the U20s coach. In 2015. That's for how long (at least) he's been f*cking up the Hurricanes development.

So you’d think the Magpies U20 coach should be in prime spot to get the job, after all he bested Wellington and equaled the Poo with a markedly worse squad as evidenced by the paltry number of Hawkes Bay players in this Canes team. He must be a master coach.

I saw a comment from the mother of one of the players. She said they were told that the tournament was all about fair game and all of them having an awesome experience. Then there was this one player (not her son) who wasn't named in the squad for last Sunday's game, and also not for today's game, who only got 16 minutes on Wednesday. That was all the game time he got.

She said she wished her son was playing for one of the other teams, who rotated their players and had a better culture than the Hurricanes team, where the coach favoured players and didn't allow the NZ20 selectors to see every talent, but only those that the coach wanted to progress.

Obviously, this was the opinion of a very disappointed mother, but I think it's very similar to the impression we have, looking in from the outside.
