The Rebels are awful.
Wessels wasn't the whole problem - Powell and Toomua just don't work
Powell isn't SR level. It's why the Brumbies got rid of him. Amazing to consider he was a Wallaby.

@antipodean nah he was already lining up to tackle, but Renata straightened and reduced his time.
So he didn't have his arms ready to tackle? Bullshit. It's a clear, conscious decision to turn side on with his arm against his body.
@antipodean ahh but bullshit, it's not.

Christie is getting better and that exit shows why he might be getting ahead of the others - nice clean exit which is crucial in this competition.
You have to be kidding. He has been shit today.

I dont think he is great, and I havent been watching super carefully, but exiting after points has been an awful issue for the Blues, and he managed that well. I’m yet to see that from Ruru or Nock

Guess I'm at odds with everyone else then, but that seemed like almost nothing to me. Hardly any impact and absolutely no lasting effect on play or player. Penalty.
Or are we calling card for every piece of foul play now?
Definitely just a penalty IMO
Fuck our scrum is looking great, two better props to come on too.
Backs look terrible though.

Faiane has gone OK. Rione running has been good, handling shithouse.

exiting
This thinly veiled attempt at broken record is disgusting.
I think it is vastly underrated right now. The Saders live off poor exits and penalties that give them field position.
Edit: I’ll admit I do bang on about it, but I’m a Chiefs fan, so what do you expect?

The whole thing is a mess. 55 min in and they haven’t strung a move together. Useless.

Rebels second row is weak as piss.
Eloff is packing too high. Loosehead packing too low.
Not sure about their technique of lifting their props over the scrum

Bold move. Not going to pay off any time soon.

Except Robinsons try in the corner.
