I think that is really harsh. The ball was way up in the air. Very hard to successfully force it. I didn't think he intentionally knocked that dead.
Then don't try to. He didn't attempt to catch it and that's not a genuine attempt to ground a ball when it's that high off the ground. Good decision.

What the fuck was he supposed to do let Him score fucking joke
Try to grab or ground the ball. Pretty obvious
He tried to ground it,it was a downward motion
Harsh call I have been in the position you are trying to get it grounded fucking idiot Ref has made a complete clown of himself the whole game. -

If it was too hard to force due to the height then he should have left it.

Fair call, he knocked it dead on purpose. People can moan and moan about it but the call was right and rules are rules.
Judgement call on the deliberate part. I could see it coming but thought it harsh. The PT part is what I question more.

Funny how good your scrum can be when you have your 3 best scrummaging front rowers on the paddock

@chris he pushed it dead it wasn't a downward motion.
Nah disagree

With Kirifi and Laumape the canes have 2 of the most over rated players in NZ
Both have had storming games today. I think most people rate them appropriately - they are good players but limited.

@crucial why are you fixated on the deliberate part. That's the offence in the law. So that's what it is
Not quite sure what the question is but when it happened I immediately called that it should be looked at.
On the replay I thought it could go either way as to being deliberate.
I didn’t expect a PT though.
Another ref and it could have been a 5 metre scrum or a penalty and YC.
I can’t see that the try would have been scored from a bouncing slippery ball and sliding player
