Well played Argentina, stuck to the task and performed brilliantly with 14 men (see above).
Going in to this match Argentina should have stuffed Wales, but with 14 Wales should have seen this home comfortably.
Unfortunately they forgot that Argentina were one down in the backs not the forwards and proceeded to try to hammer the door down rather than use the key.
Williams’ try showed how easy it was to score when you made the Argentinian backs think.

Argentina didn't win this because they refused to put Wales to the sword when it mattered. Should have kicked to the corner and kept going with their more experienced pack, but reverted to type.
Great defence mind, particularly with a joke of a red card stretching them, but this is a Wales B outfit mostly, and Argentina were at or near full strength.
Does that Basham guy know the Laws BTW?

Maybe we should ban tackling above the waist. At least it would be easier to beat the smothering rush defence with increased offloading in the tackle

What hasn’t been mentioned is the complete shithousery of some of the Argentinian players trying to milk penalties and YCs
The one where Sheedy was penalised for raking the face during a strip of the ball was fucking shocking
The Argie should have seen yellow for acting and should certainly be cited
No fucking place for poofball histrionics

They've always been extremely petulant. Must be very annoying to play against them but if it works for them..
