From another Android:

Basically same shrug emoji. Save the post and...
EDIT: yep turns it into woman shrug emoji and female icon.
So let's just assume @duluth and @Kirwan are feminists?

I'm on iPad, and see that weird emoji set. That's why I posted a screenshot, cos I reckon we all see different things depending on platform.
That must be the reason some posters on here don't appear agree with everything I say or think. Obviously a platform error.

Emojis are a standard that get slightly implemented differently by each operating system. IOS famously has shit versions, particularly the gun which they turned into a water pistol.
That said, the forum software might be involved as well.
Not being a teenaged girl, my care factor is pretty low.

I think it's working now?
A little disappointed the gay family emoji only comes in one skin tone though

On ios I was seeing borders but they have gone. The preview post and the post itself are showing the correct icons. The thread preview (from the category, unread, recent etc) still shows a broken emoji but I don't care
It looks like it was trying to load the emoji's on http instead of https. I have no idea what icon pack it was resolving or how it was hitting it
Can someone else do a few tests in here please?
