@act-crusader Kellaway got one, nearly had a second, and basically didn't make a mistake.

Koroibete will head home to his new baby and not play next week according to Rennie's post match.

Also hinted a couple of other changes. We can't win TRC so a few tweaks to give game time is not something I'm against.

When they're executing their patterns you can see the foundations of a very good team in the Wallabies, but then they just fade out of matches for too long.

Quade's maturity and Kerevi's form have made a huge difference.

@nta Kellaway is the antithesis of a Wallaby back. Just does the things he's supposed to do properly and reliably and has no real flash or, god forbid, 'x-factor'.

    Shit just isn't Australian.

You are the most consistent poster on TSF. When the Wallabies are doing well you tear into them, when they do well you tear into them as well. 3 games in a row, taking down the RWC champion. I guess one is sheer frustration the other mock outrage but if I was a Wallaby I'd wonder what could possibly make you happy.

@nostrildamus I read that as tongue in cheek appreciation -- but perhaps I was wrong

@nzzp yes I think it is, just that given what Derpus was saying when the Wallabies were losing, a bit of sunshine when they win 3 games in a row would be nice ...

You’re not wrong. For far too long Oz fans were so focused on x-factor or “running rugby”. But now they’ve got a good quality winger (who can play full back too) who does the basics at a high level and is getting the rewards for that hard work.

I like Kellaway’s game and a good balance with Koro who is a highlight reel waiting to happen but will make errors every game.

@act-crusader when Kellaway performed at Eden Park - twice - the Brumbies supporters were still talking up Wright 🙄 for the xfactor

And, unfortunately, Wright might get a go in Koroibete's absence. 🤦‍♂️

Watching back now - Kremer was being a bit of a cock all game, not just up until the yellow card.

Aw but Kellaway (8 Tests, 5 Tries) is no Tom Wright! (5 Tests, 1 try)

    🤣

@nostrildamus Look man - i've been locked in my apartment for 3 months. I'm happy that the Wallabies are playing well and i think Kellaway is a very tidy player. That's as ebullient as im getting.

Ok fair enough! But if it gets too depressing do consider a coach swap with us!

It's a feeling I haven't had in a while as a Wallaby fan: to be happy with a comfortable win, but feeling we played a bit below our best. We left at least three tries on the park. JOC bombed one, Nic White didn't realise the law around grounding on the post pad had changed (unforgiveable), and a few times we lost our cool with numbers out wide.

But our general play around the park was as good as it's been in a long time. Defended well, secured our own ruck ball, created space and then exploited it with simple catch-and-pass. Our 10-12-13 is the best it's looked since the Foley-Giteau-AAC axis at the 2015 World Cup.

Sets up our NH tour really nicely. Not sure how undermanned we will be but that England game looks very enticing.
