@sparky It doesn't really bother me. England has had the advantage of playing many more test matches over the last two years and are playing at home. They have an excellent squad.

FT: England 43 - 12 Black Ferns

Ugly score and lots and lots to work on for the Black Ferns. Set piece, handling errors and tackling the most important problems.

Lots of circumstances in favour of England though (professionals, Premiership, many test matches) v amateurs, disrupted FPC and no test matches for 2 years. The many rookie BFs will learn a lot from this.

As predicted sadly. An inexperienced team with no matches for years, not really a surprise. England, and France, have been building nicely over the last few years.

I really hope that the test series they were talking about, last year - planned for IIRC July - will take place in 2022 ahead of the WRWC. All non-6N countries need more test matches. I think the invited countries wer Oz, Fiji, USA and/or Canada, but not sure (apart from Oz).
