Not sure why they're reluctant to play him. He did get a little game time against the Kings, but then was dropped the next game.

I wouldn't mind seeing him ahead of McDonald for the rest of the season to see what he can really offer.

and to add to that, he has looked good enough in his very brief minutes on the park as well, yet struggles to get any more minutes. From what I hear he is an immense trainer, so it isn't like he is not getting it done off the park either, was talked up by JK about his leadership...so is a very odd one.

He has the size and skills to make it all the way IMO, but is stalled in the Blues dev side.

Thing is that he looks to have the potential to be another Coles/Taylor/Harris type hooker if he can get the experience he needs. Being an ex loose forward he has the speed and instincts to get around the track a lot.

I guessed it wouldn't be a training issue. I have met him a few times and know he is pretty dedicated and a hard trainer.

I have a close friend that works with Barrett's girlfriend at PWC in Wellington so I don't think she would up and move that fast.

Because Barrett's girlfriend works with a close friend of yours he won't be moving to Auckland? You must be a very important person!

Pratley has gone well, always good to have a specialst LP on the bench. Tana needs options to rotate his Props.

Our prop play has improved a lot this season. We've really come a long way in the scrum department compared to last year. We can hang with every scrum in the comp, except a few.
