That’s really only an article telling us that England were rubbish at working out how to counter a tactic and that Jones didn’t like it. You’ll need a bit more than that to shore up the conspiracy theory 😂

The rule that allowed it, that the ABs had used for years to be able to get closer to the attack, was changed within months.

Ruck-less law change was an 'over-reaction' says Italy coach Conor O'Shea

Ruck-less law change was an 'over-reaction' says Italy coach Conor O'Shea

Conor O’Shea has criticised World Rugby for an “over-reaction” to his team’s infamous ruck-less tactics against England a year ago, […]

Yes it was addressed quickly, but ask yourself if it was more likely because of England’s all pervading power over World Rugby, brushing aside all other arguments in a mere three months or because the tactic had been used at every occasion possible and had ruined a high profile match in front of 83,000 paying spectators and God knows how many as a TV audience.

Always remember, don’t let common sense get in the way of a good conspiracy theory. And Deans did score! 😁

Actually on a serious note, it can be a positive thing. I like the way the caterpillar ruck - which was starting to ruin the game - was handled by the RFU

I think I see the problem here...was it only English fans watching? 😉

Ah you mean the issue of NZ playing a different system to the rest of the world?

It's called scoring more points than the other side....

And you’re still bloody doing it. Cheats. Cheats I tell you. Why hasn’t the RFU outlawed this?

At the time I thought it hilarious and also somewhat deflating that it took our brains trust so long to work it out. But would I care to watch a game like that again? Not really and certainly not if I were a neutral spectator.

I would. It was excellent. And I'm England leaning.

Who is your next NH opponent? Only once before have you lost three on the trot to NH opposition.

A South Sea Island is a South Sea Island. I see no distinction here.

The Fish and Chips are better. Ask Brad Shields.

I'd rather ask Foster or Hansen.

They look as if they would have more intel.

I get the feeling they don't rate what else he could have offered if he stayed on...almost a par performance from him!

    @daffy-jaffy @Bones

That’s the way to improve the average of your player rating. Some blokes just do less damage when they’re not on the field 😂

By chance I was in crowd that day. The faithful were howling, but an Italian fella behind us correctly interpreted why no penalties given!
Hilarious when ref told Haskell he wasn't his coach!

    Friday ToryGraph (LOL): https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2022/03/12/x-factor-non-x-factor-stuff-charlie-ewels-actually-does-england

'“Charlie’s X-factor is the non-X-factor stuff. He might not knock over two blokes, but he doesn’t lose collisions and will keep you on the front foot. In defence, he’s very mobile. He makes good reads. He’s solid and doesn’t miss tackles.'

I often turn off after red cards, the result is usually not in doubt. Neutral - absolutely. Wrecks the game.

Too much home brew bro! Don't think he's talking about this weekend...
