Wales far too strong but I don't expect a hiding as the Welsh backline is poor.

To be fair to Wales (small sick in mouth), there has been a fair bit of enforced chopping and changing in the back line, exacerbated a bit with Pivac trying out wingers in the centre. I don’t see this as the time to experiment too much, like England they are not in that place yet.

@mikethesnow I’m not sure I agree. But Pivac has already used a fair number hasn’t he? Maybe a good time to really get the top team purring, you think?

        walit.jpg

        Some very quizical selections

McNichol has done nothing to warrant a return

Cuthbert and Liam Williams will be joining Basham in the starting XV to watching it in the stands club

Halaholo in on merit. He's there to provide the cutting edge in midfield. Hopefully we'll see him and Tompkins together at some stage, with Tompkins at 13

Tomos Williams still concussed I'm guessing

Why wouldn't you start with Hardy?

AWJ getting his long service testimonial. 150 Test Caps. He may not be there next season. I get this one.

No pace in our forwards subs

Barring a RC we should see this home

          @mikethesnow

If anyone deserves a swan-song it’s A-W J. You wouldn’t bet against him soldiering on further though.

Tomas Francis is on odd one. OK to play last week after getting knocked for 6 the week before but not now?

It’s some merry-go-round you’ve got going there at the moment.

            Welsh team named tomorrow

Call from pundits and ex-players to give fringe players a shot in what is being regarded as an automatic victory

            FUCK THAT

As we saw last weekend a moment of inaccuracy can see you playing all but 82 seconds of the match with 14 men

A 14-man Wales are not good enough to beat a 15-man Italy

            Pick the best team available

Get them playing the way Pivac wants

Then if we're well ahead bring on the bench to slot in to that pattern

Not let it disintegrate into a free for all

It’s only Italy. The team could play pissed and still put 20 on them.

                Half time.

                Wales 7 Italy 12.

Italy should be more ahead, very much the better side in the First Half.

Wales backing off the collisions, constantly moaning at the ref, waving their arms around. They really don't seem up for a Test today for whatever reason.

Cracking game for the neutral. Hopefully Italy don't run out of steam, would love nothing more than an Italian victory on Welsh soil. Shocking performance from Wales

Jonathan "Jiffy" Davies on 78 minutes: Josh Adams is my man of the match.

Josh Adams then gives away 10 metres at the Next penalty and misses the first-up tackle before the crucial last minute try. 🤣
