    Beat us by playing rugby

    As it should be

Like Japan v South Africa at RWC15. legendary, because they played, and created.

Tough day @MiketheSnow , but good for rugby in the long run. lord knows we've been waiting for Italy to start consistently putting a good team out

    Absolutely

Hopefully it will put the idea of SA replacing Italy to bed

    7 nations or fuck off

I still reckon the 6 nations needs a promotion/relegation type scenario to give Georgia and Romania something to shoot for.

Both those teams are capable of knocking over the big boys on their day.

    Give it a rest

Italy are streets ahead of the best of the rest

Narrow empty streets maybe…..look, just cos they beat you guys doesn’t make them all that. They used to beat the Scots too

Also Georgia are ranked above them

MOTM was the Italian hooker. Crucial turnovers, good set piece.

Italy would be further ahead if Ioane had drawn and passed instead of trying to beat them man on the outside.

@mikethesnow good attitude in defeat mate.

Was happy to watch the joy in all those players faces.

No such thing as a dead rubber in rugby (3rd v 4th in WC excepted)

Interesting bit, he certainly looked like a teen but, man, brave out there

The man who set up the try and makes it so delightful is fullback Ange Capuozzo. He's 22, but looks 13. He's also tiny, weighing just 68kg. The last time the All Blacks fielded a player that small was in 1964, when Derek Arnold played against France..

I always thought Arfa Stone was the lightest All Black

That was a cracking try to finish the game as well. Great to see what it meant to the players too.

His counter attack was cullenesque ... Body swerve and deadly acceleration.

A step that put Michael Flatley to shame

I get the feeling Wales would do a lot better if the myth of AWJ was put out to pasture.

@mikethesnow would have broken both my ankles and popped my hip!! Best swerve and step I've seen this year.

It's not a great time for Welsh rugby. They've an aging team, their u20s only beat a rabble of a Scottish side and all their regions look like missing out on the top 8 of the URC. Meanwhile the WRU have just built a hotel. Priorities!

If five of our best performers this 6N had been selected to start - Francis, Rowlands, Basham, Cuthbert, Liam Williams - the result would have been very different

And Scott Williams should have been brought in at 12 from the start

Colin Charvis speaking on BBC Wales Scrum V was correct

You don’t become a shit team overnight

A better game plan with the players we have and we get different results

For that reason, the first to go is Pivac

    NOW

    Shit selections
    No real, modern game plan

    Then Jones
Unless he’s toeing the Pivac line

And the new hotel is magnificent and a far better return on investment than Pivac
