Yeah, under Holland the Canes have a winning percentage of just over 50% which is shocking for a club with the talent it has.

Under Boyd and Plumtree I think it was hovering just over 80%, a fall from grace indeed.

Yeah, I was just thinking more that he needs somewhere to showcase himself and they are the best/only option.
He's a damn sight better than Gregory and a partnership with his bro and with CGB behind them could work very well.

It worked nicely for Scots College back in the day when they won the national title.

The only constant is the other NZ teams. Although the frequency of matches has changed

Jordie at 12 might be the most important selection move for several years.

It would be very handy if he could be outstanding there. He could be like a more skillful SBW.

PUJ may as well ask for a release

Not necessary. His contract expires this year.

                                alt text

Unbelievable, the Plodder is starting at 6 again - Perenara was awful last week, he was stuffing around looking at the ball at the base of the rucks instead of trying to fire the it out as quick as possible... Proctor shouldn't be at 13, O'Sullivan should have his spot{our best midfield combo would have to be Umaga-Jensen/O'Sulivan} & prefer J.Barret at 15, also J.Savea has a really poor work rate, amazing Rayasi isn't playing in his position.
Love is a better 10 than fullback.
Think someone on TSF said Holland might be signing up with a team in the UK, certainly hope that is the case.

                                And here it is:

Jason Holland's obviously been to the Ian Foster school of backs selections being as erratic & inconsistent as possible. Holland making it pretty hard for the Hurricanes backline to develop cohesion.

Lol poor PUJ is on the bench for Wainui tomorrow. So he's obviously fit.

From what I can remember, PUJ been involved in most of our tries when he's on the field this season.

I've watched the Canes since 97, and have put up with some stupid selections, but the treatment of PUJ is crazy. I really feel for him.

He's consistently good whenever he plays. Am I missing something?

It really is a mystery. You'd think a local journo would ask the question unless maybe they know the answer but aren't putting it out there.

Edit: had a read of the comments on the Canes FB page under the team naming post to see if any clues came through. Unless someone is moderating any 'news' about PUJ everyone seems to be as perplexed as the fans on here.

The Canes fan base seems to be getting more annoyed week by week, but I don't think anyone at the Canes cares to be honest.
