Thought the pass from Nankivell to Jacobson was forward too.

Start at a red, mitigating for the dip, yellow card imo

Like last night's - only difference is the amount the player has dropped. Easy yellow card.

Bah. Should be pen only but oh well that's on Apoua for creating the YC opportunity.

@duluth Yep, I agree. The right outcome, just. Not even obvious first contact was with the head.

Not direct to head, shoulder first, and the mitigation was other MP player just tackled him mid drift, causing him to fold and head goes low last micro second. That's not even following the protocol, indirect contact, mitigation, means penalty only

I don't think we should be privy to the discussion between the officials in situations like we just saw. It discourages proper discussion and lessons the likelihood of someone speaking up if they think an error is being made.

As a smokey for the ABs, I'd like to see Nankivell in the environment - better utility value than Tupaea and a gazillion times better in the midfield than Ennor.

I luken it to my work. We are expected to use our BWC all the time, but when it comes to discussing how we are going to deal with a certain situation the cameras are turned off so we can discuss things honestly and without the risk of what we say coming back to bite us in the bum. We can openly disagree with each other. It's the same with the TMO. Sometimes I get the feeling they agree with each other so they appear on the same page. With what we just saw I thought the TMO hinted that he disagreed with the ref when the ref said shoulder to shoulder then head. The TMO made a point of re-showing him another angle after that.

@crazy-horse I had that impression, too, but I agree with the ref that it wasn't more than a yellow.
