They're actually both 20. Hopefully they get a few more opportunities after this

Did Hallam-Eames make it onto the park?

He played for the Chiefs in pre-sesson, was called in to Highlanders as cover for a player with Covid (got covid himself) and now on bench for 'saders!

Considering 5 players pulled out with Covid on the day of the game, 3 more players were on debut, 2 were just 20,And we rested Taylor,Goodhue,Reece and Barrett was serving his last week of suspension putting 50 points on the Force was a great effort.
The Blues almost got put away by the Force the game before and the Crusaders have always struggled over in Perth, the Crusaders camp must be feeling a lot better,a bonus with 6 of their top 23 back next week.
        Taylor,Jager,Barrett,Gallagher,Goodhue,Reece

@Chris that's twice now it's been mentioned Gallagher is back next week. Are we sure about that? Wasn't he withdrawn because of Covid?

              @Chris And so what ??????
Crusaders struggled against the Rebels and the Blues destroyed them on Friday night. They also looked pathetic against the Warratahs. The same Warratahs who struggled to beat Moana Pasifika.
It is professional sport! Tere are a lot of contributing factors why one.week a team.plays like Tarzan and the very next week plays like Jane.

Not sure what the ruling is on travelling if you have Covid - he and the others may be stuck in Perth for a few days

Great stuff. The young starting props show they can scrum. LF needs to be brought into the ABs. He just gets through a power of work and adds to the team in so many areas. Without a decent halfback/flyhalf any team in this comp is going to struggle. The Crusaders with Mounga is a different beast.

Facts are Blues struggled against the Force in Perth,
crusaders spanked them in Perth they are the Facts from the weekend.
Don’t be sensitive because someone said something mildly critical of your team.
Fuck me if I didn’t have a spine I wouldn’t stand up to all the shit said about my team.

Both scrummed really well good around the field, Newell was strong in defense.
Both carried strong they are looking more like the starting props in the Crusaders atm.

@Chris Not sure why Razor is generally picking Jager over Newell. I'd pick Newell to start in the difficult games. Maybe the difference in experience is the reason, but Newell has so many upsides.

I think the same, Jager would be ok coming off the bench,Newell makes a big impact while he is on.
Maybe it is managing the 21 year olds minutes during the season.
From now on I hope he starts.
