Did they ever give a reason why he wasn’t making the 23? He was fit enough to play club rugby in Auckland. I don’t think his form was that bad?

Lol 5 out of 23 are home grown, like that's something to be proud of. 5, FFS. Still at least their two best players are now starting, tho the old buggers might not have the stamina to go all the way
