Bower played well as he has done most games. Looks like the frontrunner to take the AB loosehead spot. Needs to show it against better props in the finals though.

@Chris Crusaders didn't rest anyone. They looked laboured tonight. They will be facing the Reds again I think they'll win but will do it tough. Playing like that they won't make the Final.

    Didn’t rest anyone ??
    No Taylor,Mounga,Goodhue,Newell or Hall that’s
5 I see rested/ not playing who would be in the top 23.
    So no they did.

What about the rest of your All Blacks? I don't know Whitlock, Bower, Barrett, Havili, Ennor, Reece Blackadder etc etc etc and Hall was injured during the warm ups. No, you guys just did not gel at home. You'll beat the Reds this week, but will struggle to beat most likely the Brumbies at the semis with such a poor performance.

umb, dirty play which should have seen him red carded.
There’s no place for that shit in rugby and thankfully they’ve scrapped the 20-minute red for next season.

Buggar. Its the one rule change that I definitely liked. Teams are still penalised by losing a (maybe key) player etc but for those watching the game the game isn't often ruined. Esp if its early in the first half

So a player is penalised. But not the team too heavily and spectators who have paid good money to watch it. It esp applies in finals (inc semis etc)

What has that got to with you saying we didn’t rest anyone when we clearly did.
That’s what I was commenting on not the rest of your post.

Very good performance from Bridge, easily the best player in a poor overall team performance

Yep agree Bower and Jager were very good too.
Looking at the game again they got through a power off work around the field.

Teams deserve to play with 14 men for things like that.

totally disagree...why should a whole team and fans be punished for one players sheer stupiditiy?

It isnt like the team were egging him on or that moment of stupidity was a team plan, fans and teams deserve rules that do not take away the contest due to a split second moment of idiocy from 1 of the 31 men running around in the 100 x 50m rectangle.

@taniwharugby the inconsistent application of the laws by the SR refs and the general thuggery of the SR players (how many tip tackles have we seen now? all in the space of about three weeks) have killed off any chance of the 20 minute card getting up.

@Derpus and the inconsistent application is part of the issue.

As I've said before, WR, Unions, coaches, players.and refs all have responsibility here to work together to find a better way, instead it seems WR are just burying thier Heads in the sand like nothing is wrong.

And we now see the ref is absolutely correct according to WR laws which is what the game is played under. Matera has not been cited because the tackle did not meet the red card threshold. It's probably not the inconsistency of the refs the probelm, but perhaps we see things differently on perhaps who we support etc.
And shows what I know I thought it was red, but after seeing replayes he lands on arm, then shoulder etc so not a red card. I not arguing whether it should be or not, but it was correct decision re the laws of game.
