Still rocking along, weight levelled out at 88.X kilos over the last couple of weeks. Which means I hope, that the fat is still going, but the muscle is coming onboard just as fast as the fat is going...

Will find out on Thursday when we see out trainer...

Leg workouts still hell on earth, shoulders / chest / back workouts not so hell on earth, but still ample!!

That's what I've started taking but everyone tells me it'll take 6 months before I feel the benefits. You're implying they worked quicker than that on you.

Shoulder gets really sore, don't know why and a short rest normally fixes it.
I've (apparently) got carpel tunnel (excuse spelling) in both hands and need an op to fix them however using the throttle, clutch and brake on the bile seems to be helping this so will leave the surgery option for a while yet, only really hurts when I'm using tools like a hammer or screw drivers.
Knee.. one had a cartilage op a decade or so ago and has always been a bit untrustworthy since, the other does most of the work and gets tied. After a resent crack I thought I was in for another op but having started to again wear a knee support when doing exercise it seems to have come right and actually feels better than it has in years.. properly because it's caring around 23kg less.

Heel spur I'm managing with anti-inflammatories which do help alot. One doc didn't think it was worth operating on and just told me to stop doing the exercise so I'm going for a second opinion from a doc who's supposed to really know his stuff, unfortunately that wont be for 5 weeks.

Logged in with trainier today, and she was stoked with results again, and reckons I should be in with a good shout of winning - nothing like putting the pressure on an old man eh!!

Anyway, she emails us with the fat loss / muscle gain things so will expect those tonmight or tomroow.

My food intake has been increased by another 185gm of Tuna in my morngin snack.

I am proud to announce that somethings that look suspiciously like abs are showing out now too!!!

gutted with results, measurements and fat etc going down fine, but have been overdoing the aerobic side of it, and lost a kilo of lean muscle mass too.

OVerding = 2 50 minute walks a week!!!!!!!

So have had another tin of tuna 185g to my mid morning snack and 3 x 20 minute aerobic sessioins a week.

I love this lack of running that is for sure, but I think I am growing gills...!!

WEIGH in this morning - 87.3 kg, and 11.3 percent fat by our flash scales at home.

training remains the same at the moment, still hard as a hard thing - legs today, so walking optional for the next two days...!

you are not wrong cutter, I look at it and cringe at the moment.

That might be fun though - first row back, go for a hard out 30 minutes - rowing at my 'old' stroke rates. Will see what has been lost right off the bat!!

Good to test the body and see what it can do though. I imagine you are learning a fair bit about it at the moment.

86.9kg, 10.8% body fat this morning post workout. Eating been a bit off this week, a few extras snuck in here and there, but even when we cheat (Mrs BartMan) it isn't too bad - we have found some protein bars that taste a bit like chocolate, so we are cheating, but not that badly - but still, it will screw up with out PT's eating plan for us!

Good luck Bart. As a former bodybuilder myself, I can tell you that it isn't easy but the rewards are great. If you are going to be squatting heavy, be careful. Focus on form over how much weight you are using, and the weights will take care of themselves. Also, if you are trying to add size, remember the big 3: squats, bench, deadlifts. Enjoy.

    cheers davidav, loving it.

At the moment not doing too heavy weights - reps are 10 and up, so as heavy as I can go for those, but nothing insane at the moment. Not having a training partner helps you keep it real too!

doing sets of 20 squats at the moment, after leg press, lunges and hamstring falls, so legs are shattered before you even hit ther rack - love it.
