Oceania U20 - NZ vs Fiji

@Chris Yeah, that was not my question; the question was why they kept Miller on the field and instead decided to take Hurley off when Cashmore came on.

He has got a great left boot.

Despite the rain, still an entertaining game of rugby.
NZ looked good against an opponent who offered reasonable opposition in the first half, but gave up after the red card. That opened the flood gates.
Bell would be my MOTM, closely followed by Cashmore who had huge impact off the bench.
Good game also from all starting backrowers, Hotham, Vikena and Hurley. Springer and Te Hiwi worth a mention, too.Not convinced by Miller and Higgins, who I only noticed once during the first half.

Hotham and Cashmore could form one hell of a combo if they can get quick ball.
A lot of nz 20s impressed.
Hotham I understand the hype - gee he is good.
Was a bit disappointed in Sititi early on but he got better and better as the game went on - has a good motor on him.
Bell, Te Hiwi, Cashmore, Hannah and Lakai looked good

74-5 to NZ.
I went to this game live on Friday night. Conditions were poor because the Sunshine Coast is not living up to its name, we’re in the middle of a 10 day torrential rain bout.
NZ we’re really well drilled and organised, pretty much dominated the match as the score suggests. I’m not small - 6’4 & 111KG but the Kiwi kids were huge, especially Holland.
As the score suggests there was class cross the board - Holland, the loosies - Sititi, Lakai & Michaels, Hurley at FB, Vikena & Springer on the wings. Pick for me was Crusaders hooker and captain George Bell. Looks to be a big lump of a hooker, set piece was spot on, high work rate and strong with ball in hand.
Given the Aussies lost in an upset to Argentina it makes Tuesday nights game against the Argies is essentially the final.
@TheMojoman I am also on the Sunny Coast. George Bell scored a very impress try at the end of the game against the Western Force for the Crusaders. New Zealand play Argentina next on the 5th who beat Australia and Australia on 10th July.
