I really don’t why teams don’t just pull the ball carrier across the line and just lock him up and it’s a goal line drop out ..

because if the dynamic situation goes pear shaped, it is 5-7 points.

But yes, there are places it's worth it... bur rare

@nzzp for me in that situation, the defenders both had Tolai locked up high has he was driving to the line , they collectively drove him back and the ball came out quickly ..
I reckon it would have been worth the risk ..

I agree in that case - they had tehball pretty secure.

Also, no rucks over the goal line - so you dno't have to release I believe.
