if that card was for him contesting the ball on the line in the first ruck, it looked pretty godo to me - on his feet, over the ball -- may have gone too long (but couldn't tell), but the initial effort looked blooyd solid

Enjoyed that shield game! I can't lie at one stage I thought North Habour were going to be victors but as they say you can't write off The Bay

Would love to see Shaun Stephenson in a black jersey , so reminds me of James Lowes ..a skill set made for international rugby ..D is a concern but so was Lowes

Stevenson and Lowe style outside backs with decent pace, ability to beat a man, and a huge punt don't appear to be valued in NZ rugby ... they're no George Bridges.

They had plenty of chances to show how good they are in the Chiefs but never really took them.

That last scoring possession of HBs started with a really weird lineout maul.
The maul was legally sacked but the ball passed out the back. Then all the players on the ground stood up and the maul started again. Surely they were offside?
