@Crucial i have no problem with Koroibete's tackle in this game. Yes it touched Mapimpis face but in that situation it happens and Im fine with it. I also understand Mapimpis reaction to feeling the contact to the head reacting.
I don't like the tackle from last week, but im ok with the ref disagreeing with me, but i am not ok with the decisions that bookends it. Faainga should have been binned and Faf not.

@NTA the reason i picked that example was because because the wallabies just got on lucky side of three calls on their line and then the rmo reviewed a nothing incident that resulted in yellow the other way.
We know the 7a cleanput happens all the the time, but once reviewed penalty only is a very very lucky result for the wallabies

@SidBarret not saying the tackle was really bad this time just that he has a tendency to wrap late like Owen Farrell. One day he’ll be walking off bemused because he does it in front of a project ref from Spain or somewhere.
I guess that Farrell has got away with it for years despite being the WR video example of a late wrap so MK probably will as well. -

My biggest reffing gripe would have been that BOK put a marker in early on attacker clean outs from the side then seemingly shelved it.
Lots of cleaners coming side on then walking around to wrestle the defender away and make their position unstable. They were effectively cleaning from the wrong side.
If we are going to have rucks the way WR allow they should be no different to scrums in that pushing/driving should be north/south not east/west. -

It is the tendency that I am referring to. Hits shoulder then wrap. Most refs will allow it as an attempt to use the arm but, as you say, close to the limit and he will get a decision he doesn’t like from it one day.

Was that another yellow card (and try) earned by taking a quick tap 5m out , but not from the mark but instead adjacent to the incriminating ruck?
Highlights package didn't actually show me the place of offence,. But smells like another fake yellow. Although would 90% expect try to eventually come anyway from that field position even if ref made them retake it from the mark. But those yellows, sheesh, its shit sport.

The millimetres, though, is about 1500 of them, to his right. And the mark has a pile of bodies on it. So to take e it quick he would need to also go about a further 2000mm backwards .by which time defenders would have retreated.
Its terrible sport. Fake try, fake yellow, because of intellectual dishonesty by ref using same justification you gave used.
Occasionally a legit quick tap opportunity does present itself, and I applaud the quick thinking.
This quick tap was prevented by physics. Though. He needed about 2 extra seconds to do that legally
Boks still would have had plenty of options to score legitimate points from there. Might even have eventually got a yellow if aus offended again from whatever play they chose from that penalty.
But, that was fake
1 to 1.5m by 1 to 1.5 dogleg is huge distance when only 5m from line and half of defenders are on floor.
'Letting it go' didn't improve the match.
