That was an amazing period of play starting on our own goal line

All joking aside, these mauls are a bit of a worry. Is that 4 or 5 tries from mauls in this half?

Well the 2nd half we need to play a hit smarter and cut the errors, especially in our 22.

On balance and given the run of play, the Black Ferns should be reasonably happy with this scoreline getting towards halftime. England might start getting a little bit nervous...

            Yes we are quite shifty.

Three from white. Two from black.

Does anyone emember the 2016 Rio Olympic 7s when the Aussie girls played unbelievable rugby to beat us in the final, and it was hard to be upset because the quality of rugby was so entertaining?

                  This is nothing like that.

Double edged sword to some extent, her replacement has gone well (though acknowledging that drop), and the red card does give us extra space. Especially against tiring legs later. Fingers crossed...

I reckon it was, we just don't expect reliable players like Fitzy to drop it cold. We'd already made more ground than a kick would have and had the England defence fractured.

One technical difference that I've noticed from the men's mauls is that the women don't seem to have their shorts pulled down as much. And until we have equality I am not going to be a fan of the maul in the women's game.

The BFs need to play at the right end of the field to avoid the inevitable.

                                  The crowd sounds very loud.

On balance and given the run of play, the Black Ferns should be reasonably happy with this scoreline getting towards halftime. England might start getting a little bit nervous...

I think this is right. England might well blow up.a bit in the last twenty minutes.

45 points in the first half and a converted try the difference.

                                        Crazy stuff.

All those nervous nellies saying we are in for a long night, are choking, overawed - 80 minute game you eggs 😉

We might have a little bit of wind in the second half so if we kick just a little longer this half we can use our pace and interplay to create chances.

Unforced error count by NZ is a little higher than what you'd want in a WC final.
