An amazing comeback by your boys. Much will be made of that and rightly so but the implosion by Wales was the startling thing.

I actually dont think you can read too much into the results of these one-off tests. Everyone has been on a roller-coaster ride - the importance will be on building momentum toward the WC. For the NH it will be the 6 Nations for the South it will be Super Rugby and June internationals.

@Jailbreak7 only 5 tests until rwc kickoff for the Wallabies, including a warm-up against France the week before.

The others are NZ x 2, RSA, Arg

You really should go 5 from 5 in those and be raging hot favs leading into the tourney.

Watching the replay, now. That try from Faletau, and the passage of play just before it, was great.

Unstoppable maul from Wales, leading to another try. One of the Aussie defenders was literally sliding backwards, despite his sprigs.

Sad to see Anscombe going off injured. It looks like he won't play for a while.

    Pivac looks to be fucked.

All the players were in disbelief after the whistle

First one was alright as well. Plus he set up position for the final try with a great break even if that flick pass made me clench. Deserved MOTM.

Petaia was not so good. Comes in hard on defence and left space.

Good stuff - we won. Also our ruck retention was better than the last few games.

Work ons - our forwards got mullered at maul time and around the park a bit early. Then Wales ran out of puff.

Great comeback win from the Aussies!. Down 21 points at some point and win 39 - 34.

Nawaqanitawase had a great game. Indeed, deserved MotM.
The comeback started when Samu came on. Huge impact not for the first time, this year. Why did he only get one start this tour (against Italy)? He should start all the big games.

He's Mr Fixit for the Walllabies at the back end of a game.

@NTA Maybe if they start him, there won't be anything to fix?

But if they DO need to fixit, and he's already there, what do we do? 🙂

He didn't go very well in his start vs Italy.

He seems better suited to bench impact - they aren't the same role.

Can Nawaqanitawase play on the right wing? He and Koroibete would be a good combo.

Once again, we've seen how crucial yellow cards are as international teams can usually exploit a one-man advantage, or in some cases playing against 12 or 13.

The Wallabies holding out Wales on HT after Gordon was yellow-carded proved so important in the end.
