damn it...last time i tried to ask someone who in AUS would be broadcasting Super Rugby Aotearoa after foxtel said they weren't and before stan picked them up..... Highlanders and NZR told me "Sky sports is our broadcaster".....so i dont have high hopes have have sent a message

The game will also be streamed on the Crusaders FB page, but unfortunately, also restricted to NZ. Could it be a bandwidth issue? I mean, that they're trying to limit the number of viewers to prevent the stream from buffering or something like that? Someone with knowledge of this kind of tech problems will know better than me.

Probably a rights issue. It's easier to get approval from the exclusive broadcaster partner in this country (Sky) than to get worldwide approval
I remember a few years ago a TSFer asked the Blues why they weren't broadcasting a pre-season match on the internet and they said they didn't have the rights

@Duluth you're almost certainly right, im just surprised pre season game would be including in rights agreements as theyre not actually part of the competition

The first half Crusaders running all over some reasonably inexperienced Highlanders. Will be interesting to see some more first stringers in the second half.

Crusaders: Patafilo, Goodhue, Lio-Willie, Kellow tries; Burke 3 cons
Highlanders: Gregory try; Millar con
Moody played about 30 minutes; Dunshea went of after 35 minutes. Patafilo after 37.
Goodhue looked very sharp.

What is a little scary is this is clearly the Highlanders top backline minus Smith and who knows at 10. We just look toothless.

TU-J, Nareki and Lowe looking good in the backline.
