Ratumaivuki Kneepkans made a break down the flank ,Naiduku just switched into another gear and picked him up effortlessly
Had a word with a few the Canes players ,they all said the same thing ,what a talent ..! -

Hope he steps up this year.
If he doesn't grab his opportunity with both hands this year, there is plenty of talent coming through (including the likes of Lakai) that will overtake him if he doesn't perform, especially if he wants that no 8 jersey.
He looks fit and stronger than ever so hopefully he has a dominant year off the back of the scrum.

With ABs rested there should at least be a few games where the Canes 8 jersey is up for grabs.
The key for the Canes is to not have handbreaks like Prinsep clogging up loose forward minutes.

Flanders struggled with an injury for most of the 2022 season; that's why he played only 6 matches (2 starts). You saw him getting better during the NPC season (average at the start; excellent at the end), so hopefully he has left whatever was bothering him, behind him.
