The Hurricanes really need to stem this injury tide. Hopefully Flanders is only out short term.
So in Grace, MMT, Ioane and Flanders, that's four NZ loose forwards injured and it's only the beginning of week 2.

With Sangster and Bird unavailable, I can see why Delany is on the bench and not wearing the 6 jersey.

With those outs they need lock cover on the bench as I’m still not sure IWL is an 80 minute player at this level.

What's happened to Bird. He is not listed as unavailable
I would sooner Delany start at 6 with Bird either starting (in preference to Blackwell) or in the reserves. Maybe one of Daniel or Dan Sinkinson is supposed to be Dominic Bird. (and I'm amazed that this hasn't been picked up yet. 1 week is OK but a 2nd week.)

Just a thought I’d throw this in here for everyone worried about Prinseep just delivered to there training ground and I can tell you he has quite a considerable limp going on.

When I drove past yesterday there was a decent number of players training. Not sure if the squad for Melbourne had already left or if that was the dev side but plenty out there in kit.

It wouldn't have been any of the players who played last week as they would have flown directly to Melbourne.
Hopefully it was those injured players nearing full health.

@Canes4life Unfortunately not he was the only one getting out of his car when I arrived. There we a couple In canes gear in the gym but I didn’t know who they were.
