@Machpants So that would mean you would be well within you rights to ruck the crap out of his hand after that blatant yellow wouldn’t it?

    I wish!

Blues waste a penalty by attempting a line out drive and getting arse raped just like last year's final

Speaking of consistency. Oli Jager (?)( Crusaders openside clearly goes off his feet on the Blues side of the ruck and doesn't get penalised. Contrast with the previous game.

Open play blues much better, try to perofeta, and I think if that wasn't a try would've been yellow versus saders

            That was an excellent try.

Perhaps best of the season for Blues

DP needs to keep the heat on the ref over the saders penalties

Mounga and Barrett both showing weaknesses at 10. Not sure either can step up to play well at international

                  What don't you like?

I've been really pleased with Richie and thought BB has gone well as well.

                  Barrett: kicking passing carrying
Mounga tackling, defence and taking the ball into contact. At super and in touch he's amazing

What are you expecting on defense?

Richie knocked down Papali'i - who has 20kgs on him and someone else as well with a try saver - and then got stepped by an elite wing.

Seriously - Jonny Sexton is not going to stop those guys often either.

If we can find a 110kg elite first five I'm all for it!

Crusaders should be miles in front given the YC decisions and refereeing.

Only 58 mins, blues bench almost empty? Great game, I wonder at the ball in play time

Clarke needs to talk to Ardie about leg drive and staying on your feet after contact

Blues need to chill a bit, too many tight passes

It's only a crusaders knock on if it happens 3 times. New rules.

Yeah after his great first game, he's fallen (hah) back into old habits of starting to go to ground before the tackler even reaches him.

Heem would be my AB bolter after Stevenson. Be excellent midfield cover for Jordie and Rieko I reckon.

As well as covering the back 3

Rieko had been so anonymous this game, I honestly thought he was being rested until he was mentioned for an error.
