Dalton did go and talk to the ref a couple of times, once when the Blues had a period on attack and the crusaders should have had at least a warning.
Christie is a bit of an anomaly, when the blues go well, he is central to everything on attack and scrambling defence, but geez he really goes into headless chook mode firing passes all over the show and not controlling things.
Really surprised Leon didn't yank him earlier, Funaki has looked sharp off the bench

Finally got to watch the game to see what all the yellow card fuss was about. Agree the Crusaders were lucky to avoid a couple of yellows. I hate seeing yellows, so not complaining
I wouldn't be too concerned with that loss if I were the Blues. Crusaders got two tries when the Blues were down to 13 and they crossed the Crusader line twice without reward. On another day things could easily have gone the Blue's way.
Crusaders won the game that mattered last year after losing to the Blues at home during the season. No reason why the Blues can't do the same thing.

@taniwharugby As a halfback, Christie is more of a liability than most if you rush him and get in his face. I wouldn't be confident if he played in a RWC knockout match.

Yeah, you need a robust halfback who does the basics well. Think back to 2015 when TKB was preferred to TJP as the latter always tried to win the match by himself.

Stating the obvious, but Talea looked good ball in hand again last night. I do wonder about his pace when it comes to higher honours though. I never noticed it before he played for the ABs last year, but he did look a little slowish in the tests he played. I know his brother plays in the midfield, has Mark any experience there or has he always been a Wing?
