Godfrey gets a start! Wow, didn't see that coming.
If Love's injury is more serious than first thought, Godfrey might end up playing a big part in this campaign. He seems to be the like for like replacement as he has the ability to cover 10/15. It's a good opportunity for him while Morgan is out aswell.

Well I was a little off but hey, good to see Daniel Sinkinson get a debut and interesting to see Harry Godfrey start at fullback. Understandable considering Moorby needs a rest, Proctor aswell for that matter.
It's going to be a very long day at the office for the Force me thinks.
Hopefully Godfrey gets a few minutes at 10 at the backend of the game, also good to also see Riley Higgins on the bench aswell.
Still no Ruben Love which is a big concern.

Agree. Will watch with interest how both go. Surprised that Lakai isn't starting at 8. And hope Blackwell doesn't drop too many balls this match.
Good also to see Higgins in the reserves. Hope to see him getting reasonable game time at 2nd 5. Maybe if they manage a good lead and Barrett moving to FB. With Cameron or Godfrey off depending on how both are playing
I wonder who does the goal kicking? Cameron was VG last week

Cameron seems like a sharp shooter at close range so I’m happy for him to take the close kicks and Barrett to take the longer kicks.

Pretty much.
I saw someone commented on the Hurricanes post asking where Ruben Love was, the Hurricanes replied but only said he was unavailable because of injury. I wish they provided more detail like other franchises.

Oh he is too.
Yeah not sure, maybe has a niggle and due to big mins they might not want to risk him.
On Plummer, he is a very accurate player and shouldn’t let the jersey down but he also hasn’t had too much pro experience. Will be interested to see how he gets on.

IWL is a player that could easily jump in at 6 if needed and is already in the squad. Would have made more sense than calling in a complete rookie like Plummer. But if he’s got a niggle then I guess that isn’t an option.
This is why it’s painful that the Canes don’t update us on injuries. It would be great to know the extent of injuries to guys like Delany and Sangster who would usually have been playing instead of someone like Plummer.
