    @Machpants 2nd Ireland test? at least Papali'i had played 6 a lot before & he's 1.93cm so exactly short for a 6.

    Also, Papali'i 113kg and Cane's 106-7kg, so it's only Savea who could be considered somewhat undersized.

    Last year Holland started 3 guys under 102kgs against the Brumbies' culminative 337kg trio for the Quarter Final, the guy is an utter madman!

    Indeed, I was just joking.

    If Ardie is 102, then I'm the POTUS.

    Hurricanes: Player
    Ardie Savea continues to be regarded as one of the best openside flankers in world rugby.

    They might like to update their website or their positional selections then..

    Canes are poor at keeping this website up to date. They only include minimal details about players now on this website. Plus anything that was there from the past

    His weight is now 104kg according to this

    @Canes4life Did they drop him in line-out practice, too (like Flanders)?

    Who knows? The Canes are starting to get a worrying number of injuries to locks/loosies. Hopefully this doesn’t continue.

    Don't need to play the quota if all the quota players get injured in training ...

    What is really strange about this replacement is that, apparently, Bird is fit to play, yet they chose to name a loosie on the bench at 19. Even if IWL was already under an injury cloud when they named the team, it's still weird.

    Fucking yes (not that Hunt is injured, but that we finally have a foster style injury enforced improvement).

    Fascinated to see whether Millar is worth the hype. I have held the opinion he could be a Noakes or Berquist.

    Hype? I haven't seen any hype.

    I'd take Noakes or Berquist over Hunt. That's all it is

    Millar is a very good goal kicker, so that's a positive.

    First two lineout throws not straight. First set piece ball is kicked away.
