Disagree. When the Chiefs get penalised for something that the Crusaders just did it’s not a good look.

I always knew the Auckland team of the 80s and 90s was great , but they had a core of the greatest All Blacks you would ever see over a period of time , but this franchise is next level it doesn’t matter who wears the jersey , and the coach will go down as the greatest Super coach bar none

And the non red? It was an ok performance by the ref. He didn't cause the awful discipline by the chiefs. The chiefs should've won, but they choked under pressure.

Sorry, but Crusaders are bogus champions. Well played Chiefs. No silverware, but best NZ team in 2023. Would love to see a Sader acknowledge that best side lost.
As a neutral I have no idea how you can say the best team lost tonight.
Saders were good. They controlled the ball and territory well and had better discipline.
@Damo clearly the 2 best teams in the comp, and came down to the final minutes, cant ask for more really, both teams wuld have been deserving winners, but unsurprisingly, the CRusaders took it

It goes both ways. ALB should have been off for 20 not 10.

Commiserations Chiefs and supporters some excellent rugby this season ... and so close.. but discipline was the difference for me tonight

Referring was the actual difference and if refed otherwise, 9 times out of 10 would have been a different and correct result!

Rugby will be a more fun game to watch when you cant try for a maul two times. We stopped them straight up each time. Pushed them back too. But it doesn’t matter, they can just regroup and go again.

I’m a neutral too. Chiefs played better rugby, and apart from Crusaders maul, were much the more dangerous side.
Saders stole it, and their name is on the trophy but obvious they know that this was one they didn’t merit.

That's fair but doesn't address my point.

I think both teams were so desperate to win that there were a lot of tense moments that caused mistakes at the breakdown and some poor decisions to take on the line or run the ball.
Very proud of the Saders. Chiefs have been impressive all year and tonight we’re very good but their discipline let themselves down IMO.
Super rugby is the winner

They had no plan to attack from that 53 out. Needed to go to the corner and secure the ball. Terrible by the game leaders to not try to make the right call there.
