Deserved goes to the team who set the standard all year.
Deserved goes to the team who had a ref decisions go against them all night. Chiefs got pinged for stuff the Crusaders kept doing.
Not to mention forward passes leading to a try.
Not sorry at all but that was a totally undeserved result.
Geeze mate have a lie down and come back with some class.
How about taking a big leap into reality and accepting that the win was gifted to you... sad but true!

Not to me. I am a Highlanders fan, but lean to the Chiefs as I live here now.

I hope everyone lays off Ben O'Keefe. He did OK in trying circumstances.
Hahaha, sure. Made many mistakes including 2 missed forward passes to gift a Crusaders try!
And the non red? It was an ok performance by the ref. He didn't cause the awful discipline by the chiefs. The chiefs should've won, but they choked under pressure.
Non red by who's measure! Tries gifted despite forward passes, next level by try again!

Really enjoyed that. Feel like SR had been lacking in intensity of the regular season and we had to wait for the semis and final to bring it. Chiefs were so good all season right mix of resilient defence and superb attack. Surprisingly the discipline which had been so good deserted them tonight. Our time will come.
Saders are such a remarkable finals team. Well played Razor & co congrats , I look forward to the next chapter in Black.

Couple of big steals at LO time by Sammy, but overall I thought Barrett was huge and they could’ve given it to him.

Every contact sport has big problems with concussion. Repeated concussions has severe impacts on players. It has to be taken seriously. That means the tackler has to bend at the hips and drive shoulder at lower lower chest and below. Without these rules the game leaves itself open to big claims and loss of public support.

Think Barrett spoke very well and I feel his performance tonight will probably have him staring in the black #6 in a few weeks With BR and SW in the engine room.

Trying to be balanced here. By any fair minded measure if Saders awarded the last try in first half the Narawa try from lineout ought to have stood.
Does anyone here seriously want to argue that the Saders would have come back from 15-27 down?
The jesters are welcome to wear their phony crowns, but I celebrate the Chiefs as the best Super Pacific team of 2023.

@Mattasaurus they all played well. BBBR got a bit lippy with Ref though.

@Dan54 not sure people want red cards, just consistency, which there is a huge lack of.

How good was Tamaiti Williams? Incredible.
I’ll be interested to see what the AB coaches do with him and what size he ultimately settles with.
I thought he had a very good game but that last 5-7 minutes before being subbed he looked to be really sucking in the big ones and laboured a little.
