Who was the regular Aussie poster from QLD? Was it Red Bull? He was good value. -
Red Bull was a really good bloke. Although I think he posted a picture of himself with a fish which was a bit odd. Gorgeous Grogan was great as well. His post after the 2011 final was easily the best in SF history that wasn't stripper or poo related.<br><br>
I was more a casual poster back in the glory days but it's weird how some people who appeared to live here just vanished. That MvJ guy and Dodge, and Jury are good examples. It also seems like Bart and Kirwan have had jack of it or something? Shame, Bart is sorely missed in the fitness forum.<br><br>

Bart deleted his account didn't he. A shame. The best poster we ever had. The governor of the Fern. I had a lot of time for Barnya and Red Beard too who were always insightful and entertaining.<br><br>
I miss the international fans as well e.g, PdP, Gospel, Just, TB, Dodge, The Eagle, Thormond, Lee Grant, even Davidav.<br><br>
That said, I think the rugby knowledge, the level of analysis and the humour of the Fern are all still first-rate. Many of the best posters have been here for over 15 years which is amazing. -

<p>He also had a hilarious "what if she was your daughter!" meltdown when DavidAV suggested that sometimes men go home with women they meet in bars just for sex, rather than with the intention of starting a relationship. It was funny and pathetic all in one.</p> -

I remember a few years back a bloke who had some sort of serious medical problem wrote his final post just saying how much he enjoyed his time on the fern mostly lurking and just wanted to say thanks before he passed away. Was quite sad. Can't remember if that thread ended up about strippers or islam apologists..hopefully it did in true fern fashion
