I’ve said it a few times but for the Hurricanes to have success going forward they need to sign up the big young four of Roigard, Godfrey, Higgins and Love to long term deals. All superb playmakers.

And start them too. Otherwise they will look elsewhere. Esp Higgins

I think Jordie and Proctor will be the Canes midfield but the likes of Higgins and Godfrey have to be in the 23 next year to start getting experience at that next level.

No wonder people are switching off this game. That call on Shields was bullshit.

When the handbags are flying, O'Reilly is always in the middle of it.

@Stargazer Stephenson seems to be instigating a lot of the niggle he’s been a grub this game.

@mikey07 Stevenson wasn't instigating it. O'Reilly got bundled into touch by Stevenson and another Harbour player legally, but O'Reilly had to grab Stevenson's foot and start the trouble.

@Stargazer he’s been learning well under Coles. His game has gone to a new level after bulking up, hope the Canes sign him up.

@mikey07 O'Reilly is a dirty grub and always has been. I can't believe you're even defending him.

@Stargazer lol calm down, he’s not that bad.

I’ve seen a lot worse than someone grabbing a leg.

@Canes4life I'm entirely calm already. O'Reilly has always been a hothead. That's how he got his long ban for ref abuse a few years back.

Harbour don't seem to be able to score in this game. Wellington's defence has been good.

    Good win to Wellington.

I don't have much hope that the Magpies will take the Shield, next weekend. The Magpies can match Wellington's attack, but not their defence.

Wellington win 19 in a row now. Another Shield defence against the Magpies next week, bring it on.

That win also means Wellington lock down top spot with a game to spare.

@African-Monkey yep, I’m sure they will be very keen to lock away the Shield for the summer next weekend and then close out the season with a successful playoff run. Would be pretty special.

It’s cool to see the flourishing environment Crowley / Ellison have created. I hope it bleeds into the Hurricanes.
