Robbery if ever I've seen one. Well done Samoa, yes We'll go back into oblivion until the next world cup because world rugby doesn't give a shit about tier 2 nations , but you sure showed how good you can be. The real winners today.

My 9 year old just got up and said fuck England and fuck this ref. In front of his grandmother. Then stormed up stairs saying yeah yeah I know time out but seriously fuck both of them. Hard to punish him when that's pretty accurate.

It was right there for Samoa to win it, but that dropped ball 5m out cost them.
The reffing overall was poor. Thought in the first half Samoa were getting a lot of leeway at the ruck. Then a number of calls (and non-calls) went England’s way in the second 40.

Why isn't the TMO asking the ref to look at the lifting tackle on Sopoaga? Looked like a pen/yellow to me?

England disallowed try for forward pass, get awarded a penalty instead - I rewound 5 times and couldn’t se what for? Maybe the highlights missed it?

One of his missed kicks for touch was crucial in helping England get points. That first easy missed penalty would have helped too.
But certainly the rest of his game was far superior to Leali'ifano.

Shame Samoa butchered that breakaway in the last minute, that would've been a superb ending to the game.
