RWC SF: England v Springboks

Needs investigating and a ban if true. Ditto a false allegation. Some things shouldn't be left on the park
England flanker Tom Curry alleged to referee Ben OâKeeffe that South Africa hooker Bongi Mbonambi called him a âwhite c---â during the Springboksâ World Cup semi-final victory.
The incident occurred just before the half-hour mark with England leading 9-3 as Curry approached OâKeeffe, the New Zealand official.
On the refereeâs microphone, Curry can be clearly heard asking, âSir, Sir, if their hooker calls me a white c--- what do I do?â
OâKeeffe replies: âNothing please.â He then adds âI will be on itâ although it is not clear if this in reference to Curryâs complaint, but he takes no action against Mbonambi. There is no audible evidence of Mbonambiâs alleged abuse.
After the final whistle, Mbonambi refused to shake Curryâs hand.
Following the game the Sale Sharks openside was asked if Mbonambi said something he should not have, he replied, âyeahâ but would not confirm the exact details. âIt does not need to be talked about.â
@Victor-Meldrew the SA way is that Bongi need to wash his feet.

@Catogrande given most of the Bok forwards are Afrikaners, heâs probably speaking Afrikaans a lot of the time to them so they understand

That translation makes no sense "oi you white side" yup totally normal thing to say.
If they have it on a mic they can check it otherwise it's their words against eachother.

No, but you can imagine a context where "wit kant" could be used - e.g, having a pop after contesting a breakdown - "You're the white side/jou die wit kant"

@Victor-Meldrew it is out now. It has to be investigated. If Curry made it up, he needs to be banned for sullying Mbonambiâs reputation.
