Exclusive: it is believed that Wayne Barnes always looks 90 degrees away to the left of forward passes even if he accidentally points to them.

Absolute dickhead behaviour from Willie Le Roux on the final whistle yesterday. Good thing BOK was there to restore order straight away or else things could have got very ugly quickly.

          2 things:

          1. I just read that England kicked away 93% of their possession - that's insane, even after watching it
          2. I see Pollard got MOM - wonder of that's the first time a reserve has won that accolade in a RWC knockout game? Maybe an injury-replacement at some point, but surely not a tactical sub?

A simple 'good luck in the bronze game' with a Farrell smirk would've been better

@The-Irishman every team has dickhead trust me we are no angels in this space could not imagine Siya Kolesi acting like this
Sometimes what’s happens during the 80 minutes should stay there

Can recall a conversation I had with Offisa Tonu many years ago ,when he played SA super teams in the republic especially being called so many derogatory names during the 80 minutes only to be invited to a barbecue post match by the same guy.

@Catogrande given most of the Bok forwards are Afrikaners, he’s probably speaking Afrikaans a lot of the time to them so they understand 😬

Complicated eh. Remember when Andrew Symonds and Harbajan Singh has the whole Monkey/Maanki -gate? You can genuinely believe you were insulted, and potentially be completely wrong.

No, but you can imagine a context where "wit kant" could be used - e.g, having a pop after contesting a breakdown - "You're the white side/jou die wit kant"

To me this just seems a convenient cover-up. I don't speak Afrikaans of course, but at least as an English translation this makes zero sense. It also depends on the context of course, what words were said around it.

The PR move here is to not say or do anything until confronted with evidence. ‘We’ll await world rugby’s investigation and make no further comment’

Now WR will be finished with their investigation long after both players have retired. Unless there’s a smoking gun this disappears real quick.

Yeah, for me it either happened or it didn't. The lost in translation thing doesn't make any sense in this case.

The conversation with the ref happened as a Farrell was lining up a pen around 23 minutes after kicking away advantage. In the play before Bongi tackles Curry. As they are both on the floor with the ball now gone they both get up slowly and either did or didn't exchange words. The two don't come together at any time in the previous plays since the last Bok score. There was never a situation where Bongi saying 'white side' would make sense.

Really not a lot to be gained from making a circus of it though, so hopefully it dies a death. It's he said, she said and I'd guess Curry won't really want any part of it post game.

I think Curry was probably more so making the point about if the boot was on the other foot... truth be told, I don't think he would really care that much, but it is about the premise of the allegations.
