      I fucking like the Drua.
Penalty given on about the 22, in front of posts.
      Kick for 3? No.
Kick for corner and lineout/maul-try? No.
Tap, go, play actual rugby, score try.

A game of attack coaches being shouted drinks in the afters, defence coaches sitting in the corner.

Superb defence by DMac in that period of play. After almost 80 minutes running the cutter too.

Good reward for the Drua at the end there. They've played their part in this game.

Very happy with that performance overall. My only gripes are the mistakes in the first half which led to a couple of tries instantly from Drua, and Xavier Roe looked farkin poor off the bench. Also, ALB copped a knee in the back of the head.

That drone show low-key fucking slapped.

Drua look so big and strong and awesome when flowing on attack, very much like their 7s team on song. Chiefs did well to contain that for most of the game then pull away at the end.

For those of us oldies, does that mean you liked, or disliked the drone show?

He's quick enough and has size. A good option on the bench when Narawa returns.

I've just watched the replay and they didn't go into specifics either. Did Ioane actually play for the Chiefs Dev team vs Blues A? It could have just been about giving him more game time with a view of starting next Sat.

Question for Chiefs/Waikato fans? Whenever a kicker kicks the ball out of the stadium from a conversion or penalty, do they have a group of kids collecting them? It happens more often than not.

Most likely. The ball used to go out of the ground much more in the old days of Rugby Park. Now you have a giant TV screen at one end to act as a barrier.

Or not. Even Jackson admitted they didn't tap the ball before their second try.

I've got to say that what Sky showed of the drone light show was not close to the whole spectacle. And then we had fuckin' Kirstie Stanway talking over it.

As to the game, I thought both starting locks played well. I'm not the biggest fan of MSR but he was busy. Tupou owned the kickoff receptions but completely butchered a try early in the 2nd half by not passing to Finau.

He got through 20 mins or so. I would think he'll get a run off the bench against the Highlanders to build up his fitness. Good to have him back.

DMac is still far too loose. Wouldn't want him starting for the ABs at 10.

What? I am trying to comprehend this. Who in Super Rugby would you have instead? In my opinion, if Dmac goes down, the ABs are in a world of trouble.
