QF - Hurricanes vs Rebels

@Canes4life Piri Weepu was saying on the TAB podcast last week he could’ve played last week and should be back this week I guess it hasn’t healed as much as first thought.
@mikey07 yeah I was watching him walk around the ground at the game against the Highlanders and he was limping a little bit. Him not starting this week is probably precautionary. He probably would have played if we were playing say the Crusaders and not the Rebels. Tosi has had a big shift lately so hopefully they can keep him fresh through the final stages of the playoffs.

I asked who was going to start in 15 but he didn’t get that info, I wanted to jump on first try scorer myself but silly me didn’t realize you couldn’t back someone who is named on the bench anymore haha.
He did say it was just to rest the knee so to my understanding there isn’t any further damage, just precautionary.

@Landers92 cheers mate for that info, especially after last week had Narawa & Stevenson 1st Try Scorers yet they were only announced as not playing an hour before kick off

It’s odd, you’d think the TAB would be informed asap unless it truly is a last second change from the team.

@Landers92 That TAB thing is weird how you can’t bet on them unless they take the field. Who’s going to remember to do that in the middle of a game.

There used to be an option to pick a reserve to score the first try. Its not there anymore. Thats what I was referring to.
