It wasn't a week for trying to pick an upset as every winner was the favourite - and if you could get the margin then a big score was on - most people picked 6/6. Best was @hydro11 with 67, nailing 4 margins and hitting the top of the table by just a point from Victor who had 64. Hydro11 is going for a 3rd consecutive title and the key to success is those margins, now 8 clear of Victor with 40% against 31%.
All the current top 8 scored 60+, @mikey07 and AI @Kirwan crashing spectacularly out of the leading spots - Kirwan with a weekend low of 26. Remember it is a maximum of 15 per game next week so an upset could still disrupt those top spots.
As expected, the Barbarians crushed the BOP Chiefs to reach the final - with all 6 of their players in the top 15 they are a juggernaut this season. They will play Canes Black who eased past Blues B - can they stop the Barbarians winning their 4th consecutive title and grab their 3rd and 1st since 2018?

Right, I've got my entry done and it did not take much thinking all round with all games and margins pretty obvious. Probably explains why I have pottered around in midfield most of the season! The Teams and Individual race could well come down to someone who goes off piste and pulls off a "surprise" category pick. Get your tips done nice and early before taking a well earned rest before the NPC starts.

@KiwiPie shit if you are serious about the Reds, Rebels, Drua and HIghlanders winning, put a tenner on them at the TAB, be crazy odds I expect...

There was no real drama on the final day given that there were no upsets. Nobody managed the elusive perfect 80 points although another converted try for the Reds or for the Brumbies could have done it for 3 of us. As it was, @Kruse had the best score of the season, perfect except for having the Reds as lowest scorers so settled for 75. @sportboy also picked 4 from 4 margins but missed out on 2 category picks for 70, narrowly beaten by @Dan54 @rico1 @Winger & myself with 70.5.
No change at all in the final top 6, the top 4 all scoring between 57.5 & 60.5 to stay in the same positions. Our 2024 champion is @hydro11 who gets the three-peat and is the best tipper of the generation. 2nd for Victor, 3rd for @Waynes-World, 4th for Triple T. Rounding out the top 10 were Winger, me, Langakali, @BartMan @Dolamite & @mikey07
Barbarians took the team title although it was a good performance by Canes Black to make it close - 63 to 59. Barbarians had 60.5 as their lowest score, Canes Black had to include 50 for @Hurrycanes as @Paj had posted a very poor 36. BOP Chiefs took the other spot on the podium, beating Blues B 55 to 52.
Finally a word for Victor and Mikey07 who picked the most results of the season - 68 out of 88.

@Dan54 If you don't include 2020 and 2021 when there were interruptions and mini competitions due to lockdown, then @hydro11 has won 6 of the last 7 - only missing out to @barbarian in 2017 when he finished 2nd but he won in 2016, 2018, 2019 and then the last 3 years. His weakness is NPC Tipping - he's never finished in the top 3
