This is where players have to be so careful. The refs have "reckless" at their disposal and will use it to card people they deem are making dangerous tackles. It won't get any better the next level up.

Angus Gardner has a lot to answer for. The TMO said it’s fine and then Gardner said ‘it’s with force’… like no shit, he’s committed to the tackle you moron. You’d like to think these refs have played the game before, it would help with so many of these silly decisions.
