Nice, that'll be the 3rd time into the mid 40ks in the last few years (45k in the final two years ago, 43k vs Canes in 2020)

And reasonable split support for both sides. Looking forward to that alone.

I just checked the NZ Herald website to look for info about the sellout - nada.

Stuff has it though, maybe we need to change the anti journo thread to the Herald instead of Stuff.

A number of players from both sides will have played with CGB in the Maori or in provincial or age grades. They will be dealing with the nerves and energy of a big game, anticipation of playing in front of a sell out EP and the loss of a friend and team mate.

Suspect there'll be a very emotional moment of silence at the start of the match.

                            1. If Berry gets the final, that means he's No.1. What didn't he get a SF? Doleman?
                            2. What's happened to BOK? Not even a SF? Again, Doleman?

Often the ref that gets the final doesn't get a semi. No idea who or how they decide of top ref dog

Weren't the refs assigned to a team throughout the year and hence weren't refereeing that particular team? Or was that last year?

@Tim I guess someone just made the inexplicable decision Doleman was a better referee.

And I don't have a problem with Berry getting the gig. This season he's been among the best refs (small competition).

I think they'd spread the play-off games around to help build experience.

Given BOK reffed a RWC semi- it'd be pretty surprising if he doesn't get the final.
