A miracle miss by Harbour costs them a certain try as the player loses it over the line almost Wilson/Gregan style

Agreed. Harbour doing everything but score at the moment.

I actually thought it was okay. The big wingers hands did go in a backward motion.

Big hit by the Mooloo hooker

Waikato rumble over courtesy of a nice lineout drive to give them a bit of breathing space, slightly against the run of play it must be said. Waikato 26 - 15 North Harbour with 13 minutes to go

The refs need to crack down on crooked feeds to the scrum again

Must be a bit disappointing coming away with no bonus points after such a spirited challenge. Fulltime: Waikato 26 - 15 North Harbiur

There is more obstruction than that at every lineout. Bullshit call

Comments from after the game:

(1) Both midfields were porous on defence - some woeful defending.

(2) Boss looks old and slow (which he is).

(3) I was impressed with the NH castoff Manihera with ball in hand

(4) Fraser seemed to have a completely different interpretation of the new breakdown laws (e.g., attacking players going off their feet were ignored).

(5) We won

Manihera was one of those guys who I thought would make a fist of things but seemed to go awol. No sure. Maybe injuries. He is probably getting up in age now.

He's only 23 so he's still relatively young. Got a few games for the Blues a couple of seasons back iirc.
