I think you'll be right. Oz needs to rebuild their forward capability and this is an early test. Too early IMO. SA to beat the Wallabies up front for 60mins and then fatigue will open the defence.

      Fixed it for you

SA to beat the Wallabies up front for 45 mins, make substitutions, and then continue to beat them up until the final whistle

BJD is a great player and person. Paul Roos x head boy , have an engineer degree while play for the Stormers, actually coaching Paul Roos u15 D & C teams on the same day he played in the URC final against Munster last year.

@Bones not Gurthro, Gerhard (no relation.)

Some similarities though, both big, mean loose heads from the bulls. Both destructive scrummagers, prepared to do the hard work in dark corners but also sporting surprisingly soft hands. And neither what you’d describe as conventionally attractive. But put them in green and gold folding a tighthead like a wet pretzel and they are things of radiant beauty.

Will the scars of last year have healed yet?

Would be great to see Toole make his debut. The speed battle alone worth the price of admission.

Toole has been fronting the press this week which is usually an indicator they are in the 23

@Duluth He is a very talented 10. Played most of his Stormers rugby in 12 when Willemse isnt around. 10 is best position and will try and dominate by foot and ball. Also captained the SA u20 team. Sort of Damian Willemse player but a very good place kicker.

Massive vote of confidence to start SFM ahead of Pollard in an away test and the first of the RC. It will be interesting how he goes because when I’ve seen him play 12 his instinct is to run rather than be a playmaking 2nd 5 type.

Suncorp Stadium has officially sold out for the Wallabies’ opening game of the Rugby Championship against the Springboks, in a much-welcomed boost for the game in Australia.

The clash against South Africa is the first time Suncorp Stadium has sold out for a rugby union match since 2013; with all 52,500 seats expected to be filled on Saturday.

It is also set to be the biggest crowd for a Wallabies home game since their clash against South Africa at Accor Stadium, Sydney in 2006.

If the springboks lose this match, its going to feel like 2017 all over again

@Duluth He is a very talented 10. Played most of his Stormers rugby in 12 when Willemse isnt around. 10 is best position and will try and dominate by foot and ball. Also captained the SA u20 team. Sort of Damian Willemse player but a very good place kicker.

Fell off a few tackles at the end of the 2nd Ireland game. Doesn't bode well for the big games. Willemse is a very good defender, it remains to be seen if Sacha can be the player we want him to be at this level.
