Looks like Allan copped a shoulder to the head from Dunshea as they both went into to support at a ruck. Entirely accidental.

Doleman is ignoring the new law about not being able to take out the halfback at the ruck.

Canterbury #23 wins the award for worthlessly lazy cover defence there.

Very impressed by the defence of the Southland 10. Strong in contact

If an All Black did what Dunshea did in a test would it have been a red card? I think we all know the answer is yes so why are we allowing players to get away with this in the NPC and Super Rugby? We are setting our players up for failure in international rugby by not following the NH standard on this.

fended off by Fihaki for the Crotty try though.

I agree. I'm not making a case for Dunshea to not be carded, merely pointing out it wasn't a deliberate act of foul play.

The game is currently in a state of madness where the objective is to get lower than everyone else (unless you're South African). It looks like height in contact has been a major work-on in Razor's camps as we generally seem to be doing better in that regard.

No love for Josh Bekhuis? Now the most capped NOC player of all time.

Great servant. Was solid for the Blues in 2015-2016, always put in a good shift and was very reliable at lineout time.

When they showed the list of the most NPC games played, IIRC there were four from Southland from the six players shown.
